Basketball Game Preview: Dinuba Emperors vs. Hanford Bullpups

The Dinuba Emperors will head out to face off against the Hanford Bullpups at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Dinuba will be strutting in after a win while Hanford will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Dinuba turned things around against Sanger West on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Hornets as they made off with a 66-42 victory. The Emperors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Hanford ended up a good deal behind San Joaquin Memorial on Tuesday and lost 65-51. The defeat continues a trend for the Bullpups in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Hanford's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Dinuba, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Everything went Dinuba's way against Hanford in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Dinuba made off with a 57-34 win. Does Dinuba have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hanford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
