Volleyball Recap: Kell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kell lost against Westminster back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Longhorns came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Kell was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-22.

Kaylan Malcolm paced Kell's offense, picking up six kills. Malcolm got some help from Gracie Barrett and her seven assists. Barrett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Leading Westminster to victory were Kiran Chen and Sophia Bonadies. Chen had five digs and two aces, while Bonadies had six digs and two aces.

Kell's loss dropped their record down to 21-19. As for Westminster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-9 record this season.

Kell has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Cambridge on the 11th. As for Westminster, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Blessed Trinity on the 11th.
