It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Arlington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They skirted past the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Fighting Hornets: they've now won six in a row.

Arlington picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-15. As for Cory-Rawson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

Coming up, Arlington will be playing at home against Bucyrus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cory-Rawson, they will head out on the road to take on Pandora-Gilboa at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
