Baseball Recap: Greenback Comes Up Short

The Greenback Cherokees didn't have quite enough to beat Central Magnet on Friday and fell 4-3. The Cherokees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenback saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen O'Donnell, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Greenback's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Central Magnet, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Greenback will take on Fulton at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Central Magnet, they will challenge Apostolic Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
