Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Dragons vs. Oconee County Warriors

Jefferson is 2-8 against Oconee County since August of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Jefferson not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 29th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Monroe Area as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Jefferson's got stronger as the match went on, holding Monroe Area to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Oconee County earned a 3-1 win over Cherokee Bluff on Wednesday.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 26-10. As for Oconee County, their win bumped their record up to 34-12.
