Soccer Recap: Marshfield Starts off Right with Win over St. James

Marshfield took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the St. James Tigers a 3-0 shutout. Marshfield haven't had any issues with St. James recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Marshfield didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 victory against Fair Grove on the 24th. As for St. James, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dixon at 5:00 p.m. on April 1.
