St. Thomas More faced St. Mary's Dominican in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cougars fell just short of St. Mary's Dominican by a score of 2-1. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Mary's Dominican apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
