Football Recap: Skyview Comes Up Short

Skyview's last matchup with Nampa could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Hawks came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 50-28. The Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-7.

Skyview now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Nampa, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Skyview will venture away from home to face off against Bishop Kelly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Trevan Plew and Ben Avella. As for Nampa, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ridgevue at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
