Baseball Recap: Clarendon Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Clarendon's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Riverview Raiders on Tuesday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

Clarendon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haiden Henley, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Clarendon moved to 3-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Riverview, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

Coming up, Clarendon will face off against Hazen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.17 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of. Riverview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
