Montrose had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Palisade on Tuesday. The Red Hawks blew past the Bulldogs 3-0. The victory was just business as usual for the Red Hawks, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.

Montrose walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-18.

Montrose's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reina Contreras, who had 11 digs and one assist. Those 11 digs gave Contreras a new career-high. Amaya Potter was another key player, getting 11 digs and one assist.

Montrose's record is now 7-0. As for Palisade, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
