Basketball Game Preview: Telfair County Trojans vs. Dooly County Bobcats

Telfair County has gone 8-1 against Dooly County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Telfair County Trojans will look to defend their home court against the Dooly County Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Telfair County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Dooly County likes a good challenge.

Telfair County is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Dooly County: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Telfair County blew Dooly County out of the water with a 65-36 final score. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 21 points or more this season.

Telfair County can attribute much of their success to Passion Clay, who went 6 of 15 on her way to 15 points and five steals, and Aamoni Posley, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave Posley a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trynitee Newson, who posted six points along with five boards and five steals.

Telfair County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 22 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
