Baseball Recap: Franklin Wins Going Away Against Weston Ranch

Franklin barely beat Weston Ranch the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Yellowjackets blew past the Cougars 13-3 on Wednesday. Considering the Yellowjackets have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Dallas Campoy was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Miguel Rojas, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Franklin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .517. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The win made it two in a row for Franklin and bumps their season record up to 15-11. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Weston Ranch, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Franklin has already played their next game, a 9-2 win against Burbank on the 2nd. Weston Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
