Baseball Recap: Big Sandy Takes a Loss

Big Sandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Alba-Golden Panthers. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Big Sandy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malijah Francis, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Big Sandy's record now sits at 5-9. As for Alba-Golden, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-6.

While Big Sandy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
