While Troy's victory against Williamson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans skirted past the Warriors 7-6. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.

Troy's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-2. As for Williamson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
