Football Game Preview: Kimball Knights vs. North Dallas Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Kimball Knights will take on the North Dallas Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Kimball's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They really took it to Conrad for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won nine in a row.

Kimball's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charles McCuin, who rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. McCuin has become a key player for the Knights: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Another pass catcher making a difference was Javion Broussard, who picked up 167 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Kimball proved: they limited Conrad to a paltry 2.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Quintraylon Johnson for the heroic effort on defense: he. Kimball's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.62 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 9.37 on average over their last five games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Dallas). They breezed past Wilmer-Hutchins to the tune of 35-8 on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their nine-point performance the contest before.

North Dallas' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Kimball, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
