Softball Recap: Wilton-Lyndeborough Comes Up Short

Wilton-Lyndeborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Sunapee Lakers, falling 14-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 back in April.

Wilton-Lyndeborough's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Sunapee, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13.

While Wilton-Lyndeborough had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
