Recap: Start Spartans vs. Lima Senior Spartans
After a string of four wins, The Start Spartans''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 26-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lima Senior. While losing is never fun, Start can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 502nd, while Lima Senior is ranked 244th).
It was another big night for Janiaus Hall, who threw for 275 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 101 yards. Hall is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last five games he's played. Lima Senior also got help from Kaden Hampton who showed off his sure hands for 99 receiving yards.
Start now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Lima Senior, their victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-2.
Start will head out on the road to face off against Anthony Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Anthony Wayne has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 134 points over their last three contests. As for Lima Senior, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Xenia at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
