Volleyball Game Preview: Dixie Flyers vs. Hurricane Tigers

Dixie is 0-4 against Hurricane since March of 2024 but things could change on Tuesday. The Flyers will challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Dixie is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Crimson Cliffs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-21.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Hurricane's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Desert Hills, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since April 17th.

Hurricane couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Desert Hills a tough time in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 32-30.

Dixie's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Hurricane, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-17.

Dixie couldn't quite get it done against Hurricane in their previous meeting on April 3rd as they fell 3-1. Can the Flyers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
