Volleyball Recap: A.L. Brown's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

A.L. Brown waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Mooresville Blue Devils.

While A.L. Brown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 26-24, 25-16.

Ein Austin paced A.L. Brown's offense, picking up ten kills. Austin got some help from Vinny Nguyen and his 16 assists. Nguyen was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

A.L. Brown's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mooresville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, A.L. Brown will head out to challenge South Iredell at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mooresville, they will square off against East Mecklenburg at 12:30 p.m. on March 29th.
