Soccer Recap: Socastee Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Socastee was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Conway Tigers by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Conway this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-3 defeat back in March.

Socastee's goal came courtesy of Hunter Richardson, who's now up to two this season.

Socastee has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Conway, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Socastee will take on Lucy Beckham at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Conway, they will challenge Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Conway surely won't give up without a fight.
