Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph Central). Everything went their way against the East Tartans on Friday as they made off with  a  21-2 win. The Flyers haven't had any issues with the Tartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.
St. Joseph Central got a  massive  performance out of  Carson Lyons, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Lyons is becoming a predictor of the Flyers' success: when he posts  at  least two  stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 3-5 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was  Landon Rowe, who  went 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
 St. Joseph Central  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in four consecutive  games.
St. Joseph Central's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for East, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Central will host Dawson-Bryant  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for East, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against St. Patrick  at 12:30  p.m.
