Basketball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield lost against Bowling Green back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Devils had to suffer through a 67-18 loss at the hands of the Bobcats. The Blue Devils were down 52-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bowling Green, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will be home for the holidays to greet St. Ursula Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Bowling Green, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cardinal Stritch at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
