Basketball Recap: Bonner Springs Takes a Loss

Bonner Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 36-28 to the Louisburg Wildcats. The Braves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 49-37.

Bonner Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Louisburg, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonner Springs will head out to face off against Baldwin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Louisburg, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Louisburg Wildcats take on the Paola Panthers on Tuesday.
