Soccer Game Preview: Kennedale vs. Ferris

The Kennedale Wildcats will challenge the Ferris Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennedale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Kennedale lost 5-2 to Polytechnic on Tuesday.

Glen Gonzalez and Lance Pate scored both of Kennedale's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, Ferris had just enough and edged Lake Worth out 2-1 on Monday.

Ferris has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four games. As for Kennedale, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5-2.

Everything went Kennedale's way against Ferris when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Kennedale made off with a 4-1 win. Does Kennedale have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ferris turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
