Volleyball Recap: Moose Lake/Willow River Takes a Loss

Moose Lake/Willow River suffered their biggest loss since August 22nd on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Esko Eskomos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Moose Lake/Willow River's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Esko, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Coming up, Moose Lake/Willow River will look to defend their home court on Monday against East Central at 7:15 p.m. The Rebels are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Esko, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cloquet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
