Basketball Recap: Greer Middle College Comes Up Short

Greer Middle College was the 52-47 winner over Mountain View Prep when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Greer Middle College Blazers took a hard 53-37 fall against the Mountain View Prep Stars on Tuesday. The game marked the Blazers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

It was another big night for Bryson Drummond, who went 6 of 11 to rack up 22 points for Mountain View Prep. With that strong performance, Drummond is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Brody Judd also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Greer Middle College's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Mountain View Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-12.

Greer Middle College does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mountain View Prep, they will challenge Woodruff at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodruff will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Mountain View Prep surely won't give up without a fight.
