Recap: Kearns Cougars vs. American Fork Cavemen
The Kearns Cougars lost against the American Fork Cavemen back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Kearns had to suffer through a rough 67-28 loss at the hands of American Fork. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kearns has scored all season.
Several Cougars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mina Kinikini, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Kearns struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Kearns' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for American Fork, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
Kearns will head out on the road to face off against Alta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alta will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. American Fork will be home for the holidays to greet Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
