Soccer Game Preview: McIntosh vs. Chamblee

The McIntosh Chiefs are taking a road trip to square off against the Chamblee Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

McIntosh is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Creekview, sneaking past 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for McIntosh.

Meanwhile, Chamblee's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand Jackson County a 1-0 shutout.

Chamblee's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for McIntosh, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.

McIntosh beat Chamblee by a goal when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 1-0. Will the Chiefs repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
