The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sleepy Hollow, who took down 70th ranked John Jay, 43-36. D Lopez threw for 172 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 112 yards in the win.
Panas extended the longest winning streak in Section 1 A - 1 this week by beating Yonkers, 42-6. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Jack Lambert was the best wideout in the league this week as the Indians lost to the Horsemen. Lambert tallied 10 receptions for 99 yards. Joe Kells helped John Jay's passing attack out by catching six balls for 97 yards.
D Onwe was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 221 yards on 18 carries as Sleepy Hollow fell to Sleepy Hollow.
On the ground, Lakeland's Jimmy Flaherty has rushed for 661 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ryan Bonifati. The Lakeland star has 12 catches for 236 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Panas takes on Tappan Zee. At the moment, Daniel Patronik's team is in first, while the Dutchmen are in seventh.
Steve Borys's team moved up to 124 from 224 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Horsemen climbed the ranks as a result of a 43-36 win over Jimmy Clark's team.
