Soccer Recap: Grand Valley Comes Up Short

Grand Valley came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Badger Braves, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Badger this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in September.

Grand Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Badger, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Grand Valley has already played their next matchup, a 9-1 victory against Conneaut on the 9th. As for Badger, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-0 win against Pymatuning Valley on the 16th.
