Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Edinburg North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on La Joya with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.
Edinburg North walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-20.
Pharr-San Juan-Alamo better focus on containing Zoe Castillo and Krystah Garcia as the pair were huge in Edinburg North's win. Castillo had three digs and two aces, while Garcia had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces Garcia has posted since back in August.
Edinburg North was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 6-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
