The Glendale Prep Academy Griffins will head out to challenge the Wickenburg Wranglers at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Glendale Prep Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
On Wednesday, Glendale Prep Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Tonopah Valley, taking the game 8-4.

Eli Marsh made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Glendale Prep Academy let Corbin Kim and Carter Blake run wild. Kim scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Blake scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Kim is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Joshua Rickey also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Glendale Prep Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in six consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Wickenburg made easy work of Miami on Monday and carried off a 13-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wranglers.
Larry Wilcox was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4.
Glendale Prep Academy pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Wickenburg, their record is now 2-3.
Both Glendale Prep Academy and Wickenburg just can't seem to miss. Glendale Prep Academy has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.2 hits per game. However, it's not like Wickenburg struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4 hits.
