Basketball Recap: Willowbrook Comes Up Short

Willowbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 55-44 to the Hinsdale South Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-49 back in January.

Willowbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Hinsdale South, their win bumped their record up to 7-21.

Coming up, Willowbrook will head out on the road to square off against Berwyn/Cicero Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hinsdale South, they will be playing at home against Downers Grove South at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Downers Grove South knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Hinsdale South likes a good challenge.
