Baseball Recap: Oldham County Comes Up Short

Oldham County lost against North Oldham last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Colonels took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oldham County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Josiah McCall was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Oldham County's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for North Oldham, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Oldham County will host Atherton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Colonels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ravens have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for North Oldham, they will venture away from home to face off against Central Hardin at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
