Soccer Recap: Marmion Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Marmion and Rock Island squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Marmion had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rocks by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Marmion couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Jordan Peinado, who's now up to 22 this season.

Marmion's loss dropped their record down to 15-6-4. As for Rock Island, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-5-1.

Marmion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rock Island, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Dunlap on the 31st.
