Basketball Recap: Ethan Saathoff and Nate Schaake Secure Win for Litchfield

Litchfield won the last time they faced Tri-City and things went their way on Saturday too. The Litchfield Purple Panthers came out on top against the Tri-City Tornadoes by a score of 46-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Purple Panthers.

Litchfield was led to victory by Nate Schaake and Ethan Saathoff. Schaake dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards, while Saathoff went 6 of 15 on his way to 13 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Schaake a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Keenan Logan, who posted seven points.

The victory got Litchfield back to even at 2-2. As for Tri-City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Litchfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-42 loss against Routt Catholic on the 6th. As for Tri-City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-29 win against Cerro Gordo/Bement on the 3rd.
