Basketball Recap: Myles Edwards' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Prairie Heights over Central Noble

Prairie Heights and Central Noble squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Prairie Heights had to settle for second. They took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Noble Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-47 back in February.

Prairie Heights' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Myles Edwards, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Cade Bachelor, who earned nine points.

Prairie Heights has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. The victory was the 11th in a row for Central Noble, bringing their record for this year to 14-9.

Prairie Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Noble, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 55-21 win against Eastside on the 7th.
