Volleyball Game Preview: Cane Bay Cobras vs. Fort Dorchester Patriots

Cane Bay is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Fort Dorchester is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Cobras will host the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Cane Bay got the win against Stall by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-17, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Fort Dorchester faced St. James in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Patriots came out on top against the Sharks by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 30-28, 25-23.

Cane Bay's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Fort Dorchester, their victory bumped their record up to 18-12.

Cane Bay beat Fort Dorchester 2-0 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Cobras repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
