Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Quinter couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 68-52 bruising from the Little River Redskins on Friday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Little River found their leader in sophomore Avery Lafferty, who shot 62% from the field en route to 22 points and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lafferty has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Saelyn Raleigh, who posted eight points and four steals.

Quinter's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Little River, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

Quinter has already played their next matchup, a 50-36 loss against Troy on the 15th. As for Little River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-43 defeat against Centralia on the 15th.
