Basketball Recap: Union Star Comes Up Short

Union Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the Rock Port Blue Jays 62-17. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Union Star's record is now 2-8. As for Rock Port, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Union Star will challenge East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rock Port, they will face off against North Nodaway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
