William Patriquin posted a new career-low in hits on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Rancho is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 9-16 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Patriquin and Rancho will venture away from home to square off against Cimarron-Memorial at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time Patriquin duked it out with the Spartans (back in May of 2024), the Rams came out on top by a score of 7-0. Will another strong game from Patriquin be enough to do it again?
