Sharpstown is 2-8 against Sterling since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Sharpstown Apollos will look to defend their home court against the Sterling Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Sharpstown is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.

Meanwhile, Sterling put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Galena Park 72-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Sterling has posted since November 27, 2023.
Joemoriah Ben was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 38 points and 11 steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Sterling's points. Another player making a difference was Amanda Scott, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Sharpstown bumped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sterling, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which somehow isn't as good as their 14-4 record this season.
