Glenbrook scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. The contest between them and the Georgetown Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Glenbrook Apaches falling 70-55. The Apaches just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Despite the defeat, Glenbrook saw an underclassman step up: freshman Carson Powell went 12 for 23 on his way to 34 points and eight boards. That was a full 61.8% of Glenbrook's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Luke Stanford was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Glenbrook's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Georgetown, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-6.

Glenbrook has already played their next matchup, a 55-27 victory against Plain Dealing on the 28th. Georgetown has also already played their next game (against Grant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
