Basketball Recap: Rosary Takes a Loss

Rosary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 54-28 to the Winnebago Indians. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 521st, while the Indians are ranked 175th).

Rosary's defeat dropped their record down to 5-24. As for Winnebago, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosary will welcome Indian Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winnebago, they will face off against North Boone at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
