Baseball Recap: Bluffton Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Bluffton's offense. They came up short against the Crestview Knights on Thursday, falling 8-0. The Pirates have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Bluffton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Crestview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bluffton will venture away from home to square off against Cory-Rawson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates are facing the Fighting Hornets at the right time seeing as the Fighting Hornets are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Crestview, they are taking a road trip to take on Allen East at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
