Recap: Godwin Eagles vs. Western Albemarle Warriors
On Thursday, Godwin came up short against Western Albemarle and fell 50-38.
Despite the loss, Godwin still got an impressive performance from Reagan Nemeyer, who scored 16 points along with four steals. Nemeyer hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Ross, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Godwin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Western Albemarle, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Hopefully The Covenant focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Thursday. Western Albemarle and Charlottesville will face off at 2:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Charlottesville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 538 points over their last eight matchups.
