Nate palmer leads Decatur to victory over Brownwood

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Decatur Eagles had no problem doing just that on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Lions out 38-35. The win was nothing new for Decatur as they're now sitting on nine straight.
It was another big night for Nate palmer, who rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown. Palmer is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last six games he's played.
Decatur's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Brownwood, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-2.
Decatur will take on Anna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Anna will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. Brownwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
