Soccer Recap: Manual Arts Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Jefferson

There's no place like home for Manual Arts, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Jefferson Democrats by a score of 3-1 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Toilers: when they faced off against the Democrats back in December of 2024, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Julian Lopez Gavidia and Alexis Manzano Vasquez scored all three of Manual Arts' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Manual Arts' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Jefferson, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
