Andrew Jackson Academy extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from McKinnley Beard. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers on Saturday thanks in part to Beard, who had 15 kills, five aces, and two blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 25 times she's played.

Andrew Jackson Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Batesburg-Leesville, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Andrew Jackson Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Laurens Academy on the 16th. As for Batesburg-Leesville, they will take on Northside Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
