Preview: Nathan Hale Raiders vs. Shorewood Stormrays
The Nathan Hale Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Shorewood Stormrays at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Nathan Hale will be strutting in after a win while Shorewood will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Ingraham scored an imposing 33 points on Friday, Nathan Hale still came out on top. Nathan Hale took their game against Ingraham 42-33. Nathan Hale didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
Liam Carey was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score. Another player making a difference was Rayvon Pickering, who picked up 190 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Shorewood's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Oak Harbor 44-10.
Nathan Hale is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Shorewood, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
